This License & Usage Policy applies to all digital products purchased from Sortlio, including Excel spreadsheets, business management systems, templates, dashboards, trackers and other downloadable digital products.

1. License Granted

When you purchase a digital product from Sortlio, you are purchasing a license to use the product, not ownership of the product or its intellectual property.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own personal or business purposes.

2. What You May Do

You may:

  • Use the purchased product for your own personal or business operations.

  • Enter, edit and manage your own business information within the product.

  • Customize the spreadsheet or template to suit your own business needs.

  • Save reasonable backup copies for your own use.

3. What You May Not Do

You may not:

  • Resell or redistribute the product, whether modified or unmodified.

  • Share, give, transfer or provide copies of the product to another person or business.

  • Upload the product to file-sharing websites, marketplaces, social media platforms or other websites for others to access or download.

  • Sell the product as your own.

  • Claim the original design, structure or content of the product as your own work.

  • Use the purchased product, or any modified version of it, as a digital product for resale, redistribution or commercial licensing to others.

  • Remove or alter any copyright, ownership or licensing notices included within the product.

4. Intellectual Property

All applicable intellectual property rights in Sortlio's original digital products, including their original content, structure, design, branding, instructions and supporting materials, remain with Sortlio or the relevant rights holder.

Purchasing a product does not transfer these intellectual property rights to the customer.

5. Business Use

You may use a purchased Sortlio product to help manage and operate your own business.

For example, if you purchase a Sortlio business management spreadsheet, you may use it to manage your own customers, jobs, finances, schedules or other relevant business information.

However, you may not sell, distribute or provide the spreadsheet itself to others.

6. License Violations

If we reasonably believe that a product has been copied, resold, shared or distributed in violation of this license, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, which may include terminating access to the product or taking reasonable steps to protect our intellectual property rights, subject to applicable law.

We may update this License & Usage Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be published on our website with a revised "Last updated" date.
